“I was lucky enough to have Amy as my very first contact in my breastfeeding journey. She was the first lactation consultant to come see us when I had my baby and I was completely lost on what I was supposed to be doing to feed my baby. I knew I wanted to breastfeed but it did not come to me intuitively and I hit just about every hurdle you can find on my breastfeeding journey. My baby was born premature and did not have a great latch which required me to exclusively pump for the first few months, Amy guided me through exclusively pumping and helped me figure out the most comfortable way to pump and all the parts and pieces of breast pumps. When I was able to latch my baby and switch to exclusively breastfeeding Amy coached me through getting the best latch possible and how to position baby to be more comfortable. She was encouraging when I needed it and a shoulder to cry on when I just wanted to complain about the hard times. She was a never ending source of advice and knowledge and had so many helpful ideas that made a huge difference in my comfort and capabilities. Through a huge oversupply to numerous bouts of mastitis, Amy kept me sane and motivated to continue. Without Amy I would have given up my dream of exclusively providing my baby with breastmilk, she truly made the whole process possible and I couldn’t recommend her more! ”

“I cannot say enough positive things about Amy’s care for our family. The first time we met Amy, I was a first-time mom after a tough c-section delivery and Amy was right there by my side. Attentive, very knowledgeable, patient and so incredibly caring. She took the time to answer all of my questions and offer helpful suggestions to help with latching and positions to breastfeed. By the time we left the hospital, I felt comfortable and confident with nursing my newborn and felt like I had gained a new friend. Fast forward 3 years later and we were back delivering our second child. We requested Amy to be on our care team because she had been so wonderful the first time. She was there for me in some not-so-glamorous post-delivery moments with the same helping hand and such a calm and caring approach. She was the reason we had such a wonderful experience in the hospital after our babies were born. I will truly never forget her kindness and the heart she has for both mama and baby.”

“Amy was a lifesaver! She arrived just two days after our son was born, who was struggling to latch and we were having trouble with milk production. Her guidance, reassurance, and techniques really helped us during a stressful time. Amy even offered to return for a free follow-up because she was concerned about us—she's truly incredible! We highly recommend her to both new and experienced parents. We're so grateful that we're gifting a session with her to our friends who are expecting their first child in August.”

“Amy is an angel here on Earth! She helped me in my darkest hours of navigating breastfeeding with my newborn who had a tongue tie and latching issues. She not only was thorough and professional while at my house for a consultation, she also was willing to come back at the drop of a dime when I called in a frenzy with a new issue every day or two, haha! She is not only amazing at her job and so knowledgeable, but she is also so caring and wants to help people. She is also incredible at responding to any text message if you have a need or a quick question. You will not be disappointed in using her for any and all of your lactation needs. 10 out of 10 recommend!”

“Amy is amazing! My wife and I recently had our first baby and there are many challenges that arise in that process, especially as first time parents. Amy was there to answer our questions and guide us through the lactation process (among other things). Highly recommend for all parents!”

“Amy has been wonderful support to my daughter, new baby and our family. Before the baby came, she gave an awesome overview of what to expect, and how to navigate. It was informative, fun and the pre-work helped tremendously once the baby arrived especially in the first few days and weeks. Amy was steady support from the second baby arrived until even last week as breastfeeding occurs at 6 months. She has answered texts and calls at all hours, she has a HUGE heart and a very deep background and expertise that has really enabled success on nursing which is not as easy as it looks. We appreciated her so much that our daughter-in-law will be using her for our new baby on the way! Kudos to you Amy, thank you for all you have done. You are a joy and we appreciate you!”

“Amy is wonderful! She takes her time with you and your baby, answers all your questions, and makes sure you feel knowledgeable and comfortable before she leaves. She is also an advocate for you and your postpartum health. She made me feel so safe and cared for. Working with Amy is an amazing gift to give yourself.”

“Before my son was born Amy provided me and my husband the education to feel confident to take on nursing. Our initial consultation was much more helpful and interactive than the online breastfeeding classes we had taken. I was nervous, but Amy is very kind and warm. She put me at ease and made the conversation very approachable. My son was admitted to the NICU, and in result he was insistent on bottles. Amy's support was integral to transitioning to breast feeding. She was diligent with supportive communication. She had all the right tools and advice to help us figure it out.
She also helped me make a plan for building/maintaining my supply while we worked on breastfeeding.
We've exclusively breast fed for six months! I know for a fact i would have given up without Amy's guidance and encouragement. I can't recommend Amy highly enough, thank you Amy!”

“Amy has been heaven sent for my small family and I. I had a terrible breastfeeding experience with my first child that led to me giving up the breastfeeding journey after just four days. I met Amy right before I delivered my second. She came for a home visit and basically educated my husband and I on everything we needed to know and expect after delivery as well as how to begin collecting milk to get my production going as soon as baby arrived. After we had our daughter we continued to have 3 or 4 more appointments at home with Amy where she even began bringing her scale and helping us keep track of baby’s weight so we didn’t have to take our newborn into the hospital every week for weight checks.
I was so set on wanting to breastfeed with my second and I know without a doubt if it wasn’t for Amy, I probably would have given up right at the beginning like I did with my first.
Amy was so thorough in teaching us everything we needed to know about breastfeeding, she’s so sweet, so reliable!!! She is always there when I have a random question or concern and need to send her a text.
I’m very content in knowing that I have Amy as a long term reliable source to have whenever I might need and I continue to keep in touch as I venture further along on this journey. I’m so thankful for all the help and support she’s given us.”
